[Friend/Rival Amir is celebrating a birthday day today. He is the official winner of the 2011 Deco Lounge Comedy Nicest Guy in the city award which is no easy feat. He beat out me and Joe Gorman. As crestfallen as I am, I still want to give a happy birthday to Mr. Malekpour. To many more!

From a show I’m part of later this month. Graphic work done by Jack Kirby and Amir Malekpour. Kirby would be proud. And for the record - if I had to choose which member of the Fantastic Four I’d want to be, I would choose The Thing. Or The Invisible Woman…but don’t tell anybody.

Mission Comics is a great place to do a show, and it’s a great place to see me telling jokes about comic books that are too nerdy to fit in my normal set. I’m currently in negotiations about whether I have to wear the Invisible Woman’s outfit, as pictured above.
