Tonight: FAB Comedy @ The Mel-O-Dee. 240 El Cerrito Plaza. El Cerrito, CA. 9 PM. Free. Featuring Priya Prasad, iLs Goldbarg, Bryant Hicks, Queenie TT, Andrew Holmgren, Kristee Ono, Melanie O’ Brien and Dash Kwiatkowski. Hosted by. Amy Miller and Becky Wolf.

[The theme of this show is to give female comedians a more balanced gender showcase. Open mics and most showcases are very “dude-heavy”, and at times can be unsympathetic to the feminine perspective. These shows hope to alleviate that by featuring the best up-and-coming female comedians with some guys sprinkled in. Last show was packed, and this one will be as well.]

Speech Therapy Comedy Night at IL Pirata (2007 16TH ST. 9 PM. No Cover) closes out the year with a monster line-up featuring RICKY LUNA, QUEENIE TT, BRYANT HICKS, special guest RAJ DUTTA plus our Resident comedian JABARI DAVIS & maybe a few surprise guests..??? And as always The Host Mr. TONY SPARKS
via Facebook

Ricky Luna has been on fire over the last year. Completely rude, outrageous, courageous, offensive, and captivating… Ricky has been knocking over audiences of every race, class, gender, and orientation. Speaking from his diaphragm, Ricky is extremely genuine and it shines through with electric Technicolor clarity. Tonight is his first headlining gig and frankly, he deserves it. Nobody goes into The Rouge, the Blue Room, the Stud, Brainwash, and beyond and receives the same warm reaction to his brand of vulgarity. If you don’t know Ricky Luna, then I’m sorry for you, but here is your chance. This guy is buzzing and if that’s not enough, he’s literally removed me from my seat with his comedy. The kid is powerful. Go to Il Pirata to experience it.
