Then: rhyming expert Reid Faylor Dan the Rhymer debunks some myths about rhyming, shares some of his favorite ‘almost rhymes,’ and maaaaaybe has an emotional breakdown.

Plus: Lady pirates! How much do we need to brush our teeth, really! Horrible things that Emily did! And why does Lisa love Jessica Simpson so much?!

The Future ft. Reggie Watts (by AboveAverageNetwork)

Hey ding dongs!! Check out the first episode of my new web series THE FUTURE!! Finally a vehicle for my true talents!!!

Big thanks to everyone at Above Average for doing an amazing job, and my big bro for doing all the music!

Days ago, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival announced it’s line-up featuring some of the fiercest faces of funny, darlings of the deprecation, and heroes of ha-ha. Once again, the Bay Area is represented handsomely by various luminaries of the region’s history and current thoroughbreds. Shout outs are indeed in order to: Dana Gould (SF80s), Greg Behrendt (SF90s), Moshe Kasher (Native), Karen Kilgariff (SF90s), Blaine Capatch (SF90s), Emily Heller (Native), Jordan Morris (SF00s), Drennon Davis (SF00s), Guy Branum (SF00s), Nico Santos (SF00s), David Gborie, Dhaya Lakshiminarayanan, Dave Anthony (SF90s), Kevin Munroe, Caitlin Gill, Solomon Georgio (Native), Joe Nguyen, and all others selected to tell jokes, eat unhealthy, dance wildly and drink absurdly.

Holla, holla! Here’s the latest epi of the Blaria Podcast. Today, I’m chatting with Emily Heller, who since moving to NYC a year and a half ago has really had her career taken off. She performed on the New Face showcase at the Montreal Comedy Festival, made her stand up debut on Comedy Central’s John Oliver’s New York Stand Up Show, and is currently the warmup comic for Totally Biased. And if that’s not all, she has a web series coming out on Above Average last on this year. Not too shabby, huh? Anyway, she’s a busy person, so I was happy that she had the time to sit down with me and chat about a multitude of things including our love of VH1′s Behind the Music, comedy, and other fun things. Hope you dig it. Enjoy!

Really good news for fans of delightfulness: Ron Funches (Conan, Montreal) is here!! We talk about the Black Mafia Family and the Lanford Mafia Family (Roseanne). He also reveals the secret to making him cry. Emily and Lisa are delirious and also still reeling from the terror that is Action Park’s Wikipedia page. Kara Klenk Yvette Bobalescu tells us how to rip the hair out of our crotches and other places.
