If the site looks a bit different, it’s because it is! We’ve included sponsorship, the first coincidently being my mum (huge fan of the blog). Secondly we’ve included a link to “Open Mic Map” which serves as the de facto array of the timeliest, most accurate information on pure open mic opportunities in the Bay Area. (P.S. Thanks to Andre Parker, Rach Shapiro,  Frankie Castro and The Comedy Bureau (for doing it first)). Coming soon… Sonoma/Sacramento Open Mic Map. Cheers.

Also, if you’re not following them on twitter, get right with @SFStageTime, for the up-to-the-second updates/changes/cancellations.

[As mentioned before I went down to L.A. for my first comedy show outside of the Bay Area (barring the stand-up set I did at a family reunion in Virginia). The car rides there and back were amazingly funny, I was given free beer and cookies, met some new people, reconnected with old friends and told jokes (which is the best thing ever). All in all, it was a great experience.]
