This gentleman is Sir Brian Simpson. He is an improvisational actor from Berkeley’s jericho! and a founding member of GranDaddy Charlie. Brian now lives in Los Angeles doing improv and that excites me because Brian loves improv like I love stand-up. He’s also a rather good drummer. Besides the point, yesterday was his birthday. Happy Birthday Brian.

Hey. This is Alex. He has hair, indeed; stop looking at it. Listen, this is Alex and he’s a practitioner of the sketch and improvisational arts. He’s a very capable and respectable actor; he unleashes a swell of talent on every jericho! show I’ve seen him in. About a month ago he played Han Solo in a Star Wars sketch. You don’t trust just anyone with that responsibility, you give it to Alex because you know he can take the pressure. Pressure, the very thing that defined that sketch. None the less, in addition to his talents he’s also an ultra cool dude, and very nice, and grandma-friendly. Today is his birthday, so hide your kids and hide your wife and hide your husbands. Just do it.
