This show is rated somewhere between R+ or X- and not for the easily offended adult– Direct from the London- SCOTT CAPURRO- Daly-City born, internationally acclaimed queer and devastating comedy headliner shakes up Berkeley. Direct from New York fast talking, quick thinking funny lady KATIE COMPA gives us what for. The ever ironic and sublime JESSE FERNANDEZ will charm the laughs out of you. Lydia Popovich a member of Five Funny Females Festival brings it. As always hosted by MARGA GOMEZ with a new monologue weekly.

Comedy & Cocktails is your opportunity to experience San Francisco’s thriving stand-up scene. This is the show where established comedians try new things and hone their material. If you love the art of stand-up, this is the place to be.
The headliner for July 21st is Kevin Camia. Kevin won most outstanding rising stand-up star at the 2009 Rooftop Aspen Comedy Festival. He’s had several high profile TV appearances including Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham”, AZN’s “Asia Street Comedy”, Rooftop’s Aspen Comedy Festival, and the SF Sketchfest. His dry wit, hilarious social satire, and thought-provoking ruminations make for a killer stand-up act. Don’t miss!
I’ve just been given the unfortunate information that the Madrone Art Bar Happy Hour Comedy Show has been discontinued. It’s been a fun year-and-a-half; kudos to Jules Posner, Katie Compa, and Nick Palm for operating a show in a cool venue. May, two dollar beer fill the cavern of our hearts.
Today is a good day. We are alive. Also, it’s Katie Compa’s birthday. Katie is stellar comedian with polish, poise and posh. She’s a bit sneaky at times, throwing tags at the audience like ninja stars with excellent timing. She also has a knack for making common grievances very relatable. Sadly, she’s moving away soon but not before she celebrates another year of living. Happy Birthday Katie.
Tonight: Monday Happy Hour Comedy @ Cafe Royale. 800 Post. SF. 7 PM. No Cover (tip jar). Featuring Katie Compa, Joe Gleckler, Morgan, Joe Nguyen, Jules Posner, Reggie Steele, and Dave Thomason. Hosted by: Cara Tramontano.
[Each and every comedian on this bill is a headliner. Seven high class, superior, Punchline vetted comedians for the price of a suggested donation. This is also one of Katie Compa’s final shows in San Francisco. There might be a puppy raffle as well. (Not really.)]
