Karinda Dobbins @ The Purple Onion. 140 Columbus Ave. SF. 8 PM. $20. 18+. Also featuring Nina G, Cory Loykasek, Heather Isaacs Royce, Juan Carolos, Loud Todd Maugh, and Jabari Davis. Hosted by Tony Sparks [Amazingly powerful line-up. Some of the best and some of my favorites.]

Hannibal Thompson @ The Purple Onion. 140 Columbus Ave. SF. 10 PM. $20. 18+. Also featuring Priya Prasad, Omar Moore, Chris Riggins, Feel Woods, Loud Todd Maugh and Jabari Davis. Hosted by Tony Sparks. [The show with the most hood cred, and cleanest shoes. Great comedy in addition to swag.]

Comedy Shop @ Radio. 435 13th St. Oakland. 8:30 PM. [My friend Stuart Thompson is doing this. He’s funny and I’m sure the rest of the comics will be as well. The information for this show is very discrete though.]

From a show I’m part of later this month. Graphic work done by Jack Kirby and Amir Malekpour. Kirby would be proud. And for the record - if I had to choose which member of the Fantastic Four I’d want to be, I would choose The Thing. Or The Invisible Woman…but don’t tell anybody.

Mission Comics is a great place to do a show, and it’s a great place to see me telling jokes about comic books that are too nerdy to fit in my normal set. I’m currently in negotiations about whether I have to wear the Invisible Woman’s outfit, as pictured above.
