[Really fun room, really hot line-up, and really cool idea. They’re taking the best comedians of the Be Funny nights on Tuesday (considered the premier open mic in the Bay), with DJ Abel Dee spinning dope hip-hop in between acts, and putting it on a Sunday night. Pretty novel East Bay experience if you ask me. Remember, Be Funny 365-6]

2/5 : Comic Relief Benefit Show. 2026 Shattuck Ave. Berkeley. 8 PM. Free. Featuring Dash Kwiatkowski, Jacob Rubin, Stephen Ku, Wilder Shaw, Robin Higgins, Ivan Hernandez, Juan the Comedian, and Josef Anolin. Hosted by the Godfather of Bay Area Comedy, Tony Sparks.
[This is a show was created to alleviate some financial burden at the Comic Relief shop in Berkeley. It’s a free show but donations are encouraged. Comic Book shops have long played a role as a social hub for the marginalized and Comic Relief is one of the better shops in the area. I will be performing a guest set this night. I still have boxes, bags, boards, single issues and trades from this place that I collected as a teenager. This makes performing there a very sweet experience.]
