Courting Sketchfest: BriTANicK @ The Eureka Theater [16 Days Until Fest]

[I wish I was already on this bandwagon. It’s unsettling. I’m supposed to know what’s what and on the level to a respectable degree, not caught with my dick in my hand outside of the UCB Theater Los Angeles. Alas, I stood in a queue for an hour hoping to enter a sold-out show wondering what the hell was happening. This is happening: a comedy duo that has impressed the likes of Joss Whedon and Lionsgate Films. A Youtube rabbit hole later and I feel like less of an idiot. Don’t be like me. Watch, learn, then experience BriTANicK for yourself.]

Podcast: Lady to Lady Episode 57. “She’s a Moneyball” featuring Emily Heller. Hosted by Barbara Gray, Brandie Posey and Tess Barker. Download Link: Here. iTunes: Here. Official Link: Here. Presented by MaximumFun

Emily Heller (@MrEmilyHeller) joins the ladies to discuss New Year’s resolutions, self help apps, Facebook, sandwiches, jumanji, stoner food and more! Produced by David Janove, theme song by Zach Ames

[Exclamation! Lady 2 Lady has nestled under the wing of Maximum Fun (brainchild of SF Wonder Boy Jesse Thorn), raising their already high profile as go-to podcasters in the CC Offices (i.e. my apartment). I’d like to think and thank the comedy gods for making this debut so perfect; for a LA-based show this episode exudes Bay relevancy. You know what, fuck it, time to gush. Lady to Lady, in its excitable babble and unapologetic goof, is coming ro SFSketchfest (that’s right fucker of mothers*!) The Fest begins in 21 Days, bringing in an overdose of talent, including L2L (Live!) @ The Dark Room Theater on February 9th (last day of camp).

*note “fucker of mothers” was stolen from Johan Miranda]
