You are cordially invited to the Sylvan Showcase, a one-of-a-kind comedy carnaval in the heart of downtown Oakland. Hosted by OJ Patterson (he knows), the Sylvan Showcase provides ample introduction to the greater Bay Area comedy community. Following each act, a cool interview provides further jokes, elaboration and entertainment.

Of course, Vitus wouldn’t be Vitus without the food, drinks and pinball, available in abundance. Free show, cheap food, and cheap drinks is a no brainer.

[BIG SHOW! Goodness Gracious! Moshe is on tour for his new book “Kasher in the Rye” and Sylvan has been given the privelege of producing a stop for the occasion. Readers know how much reverence this blog has for Moshe and how necessary it is to see him live to truly experience his craft and genius. Also, three of the best Bay budding comedians are on the bill. Also, it’s happening at Vitus, where dreams literally come true! I don’t know how to sell you further on this awesome night. Clayton and Gomes (Ash Clayton and Justin Gomes) have been t.v.’s favorite buddy cop duo for over a decade winning two Daytime Emmy’s, and a McGredy for best comedy action show. They’re respected veterans and true masters of their craft, every guy wants to be them and every lady wants to have private lady-and-guy time with ‘em. Consequently, 

The Chief is always giving them the weirdest and most difficult cases. In the season finale, Clayton and Gomes run into their most difficult case yet; an invisible murderer?! One of our favorite characters won’t make it to the end of this one, you don’t want to miss CLAYTON AND GOMES: BUDDY COPS at the DARK ROOM THEATER!
