One of our members is leaving, so we’re having this contest to find the next new member of the tour. The Rejects of Standup tour has been called the hottest new comedy tour of 2011. If you think you are a reject of standup, come find out if you have what it takes to make it official. The audition is open and there is no fee.
We’re looking for people who’s acts are on a thin line between bad and really good, who are controversial within their comedy scene, have been doing it for a while to prove their dedication and toughness, and who fit in well with the rest of the group.

Brendan Lynch has established himself as a comedian to look out for in the Bay Area. He’s had college crowds clamoring for extensions and his performances at bars and clubs all over California have left patrons drooling in their drink minimums. Don’t by deceived by Brendan’s low-key manner. Prepare yourself for an outrageous slice outside the cookie cutter of life. Brendan’s astute observational comedy will surprise you with its bold sarcasm, absurd twists, and hilarious punch lines.
Karen Ripley has been featured on the LOGO television Network and is one of the first openly lesbian comics in America. Besides being a critically acclaimed stand-up comic Ripley is also one of the highest regarded comedy improv teachers in the Bay Area and one of the creators of the 2009 SF Fringe Festival hit “The Angina Monologues.” “Ripley crystallized the evening…she tore up the crowd with one-liners.” -San Francisco Chronicle. “Ripley was the story of the night. With a deadpan delivery rivaled only by Steve Wright and possibly Eeyore.” -Good Times Newspaper, Santa Cruz.
Caitlin Gill has performed at the San Francisco Punchline, the Purple Onion, 12 Galaxies, and a couple of places in the tenderloin that used to be comedy clubs but are now abandoned buildings. She is also the founder of the “The Ladies Room” Open Mic at the Brainwash, and “The Ladies Room” Showcase at Club Deluxe in San Francisco.
