Tonight: Eric Barry headlines the Eric Show @ Milk Bar. 840 Haight St. SF. Free. 8PM. Featuring Jules Posner, Vince Mancini, Jeff Anaya, Mary-Alice McNab, and Matt Lieb. Hosted by Kaseem Bentley.
[An interesting human development is happening onstage tonight at Milk Bar. Eric is getting deep into a very volatile part of his life and rarely does bravery, searching, and revelation occur condensed into a single breath. I hope you listen to his podcast Full Disclosure to hear/understand the intrigue. I hope you can stop by Milk Bar to support somebody of persistance chaos.]

4/24. LOL for LLS @ Milk Bar. 1840 Haight St. SF. Free (donations). 8PM. Featuring OJ Patterson, Vince Mancini, Leslie Small, Kaseem Bentley, Josh Marcus, Paul Sanford, Matt Lieb, Alex Q. Huffman, Alison Stevenson, Ivan Hernandez, Joe Gorman, and Stefan Davis. Hosted by Eric Barry. Advanced Donations: Here.

Prepare to laugh your collars into permanent pop-dom, as San Francisco comics hit the stage for LOL for LLS, a fundraiser for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society as part of the 2012 Mr. Marina Competition.
12 of San Francisco’s funniest young comedians will come together April 24, along with host and Mr. Marina finalist Eric Barry for a night of hilarious standup comedy. All proceeds from the event will go towards Eric’s fundraising efforts, one of the criterion upon which the Mr. Marina finalists are judged.
Mr. Marina is a fundraising competition poking fun at the stereotypes of San Francisco’s Marina District, while raising money for LLS. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society helps blood cancer patients live better, longer lives through cancer research and community programs.

Hosted by Eric Barry
The event will be held at Milk on Haight/Stanyan. 10% of all bar proceeds will also benefit Eric’s fundraising campaign. Comedian Stefan Davis will also be donating 50% of sales from his comedy CD at the event. All donations (including ticket purchases) are tax-deductible.
The event is free, but we strongly encourage you to show your support for blood cancer research by purchasing a paying ticket or making an in-person donation at the event.

Exclusive: James Adomian Interview (2/12/2012)

James Adomian is talented beyond your knowledge and/or opinion. If you’ve never heard of him, you lose. If you’ve seen him on Last Comic Standing, you lose. If you’ve heard him on Comedy Bang Bang (nee Death Ray), you lose. If you’ve seen him on stage or screen, you lose. There is no polite way to inform you that you have missed out on a genuinely great comic mind. All that can be said is: catch up. One way to catch up is seeing him this Tuesday, at the Milk Bar, performing at the fiercely independent “Eric Show w/ Eric Barry”. Below is an exclusive interview with Mr. Adomian. If you read it, and fail to attend his rare appearance in the Bay Area this Tuesday, you lose.
