7/12-13. John Mulaney, returns to San Francisco for two “make up dates” at Cobb’s Comedy Club.

[It goes without saying that Mulaney is going to sell out. Maybe I can get direct a few people to the show but full disclosure: I just like putting John Mulaney on the blog. Regardless of historical relevance to the Bay Area, he’s just one of the greats that isn’t here often, so enjoy.]

9/20. Funny or Die Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival starring Dave Chappelle and Flight of the Conchords @ Shoreline Amphitheater. Tickets On Sale Friday, 6/21.

[Quite an intriguing and exciting development. Two stages, too much talent. Chappelle has made the Bay his unofficial workout den for the better part of the decade and Flight of the Conchords hasn’t made an appearance in the Bay Area in this decade. Additionally, hilarious native Al Madrigal is on the bill along with heavy headliners such as Hannibal Buress and John Mulaney. I’ve never seen a comedy show without a roof but if it’s akin to music festivals, the results will be exhausted, sweaty, satisfied people.]
