WHAT! How did I miss Diane Amos day? For the uninformed, Amos is a legend in the Bay Area comedy community, touted for her improvisational accumen. Plus she’s has a Tumblr (dianeamos) that warrants a follow and a gander.

DIANE AMOS DAY! Not every Diane has their day, but this one does! The female famous Amos, Diane Amos, actor, improvisational stand-up comedienne and 20 year Pine-Sol spokesperson, was honored by Mayor Ed Lee proclaiming Thursday, November 7th Diane Amos Day in San Francisco. Diane seized the day at a luncheon, held at City Hall, in recognition of her many contributions to the fields of entertainment and art. Her roots run deep in the City prompting Mayor Lee to present her with a special commendation.
