San Francisco Comedy and Burrito Festival Countdown: Natasha Muse (“a Super Veggie with Black Beans made in the 90’s.”) [49 Days]

My favorite burrito is the first one I had here in SF. I was in my early twenties, I had just moved here from the East Coast, and I’d never had a burrito before. I thought I hated all beans because I didn’t like baked beans, and I didn’t know what an avocado was.
I don’t remember the taste as much as I remember the feeling of being satisfied in a whole new way. I remember thinking, ” I should not have waited over twenty years to experience this.”
Discovering this dense log of goodness opened my eyes. I suddenly understood that so much of the world was still out there, waiting to be explored, and I had literally just taken my first bite.
My favorite burrito was my first burrito, because my first burrito changed my life.
