Podcast: Blaria Podcast w/ Phoebe Robinson. Guest: Solomon Georgio (Fresno Native). Download Link: Here. Official Link: Here

Holla, #TeamBlaria! Hope y’all had a great weekend! Right now, I’m at MTV, working on Girl Code, so I’ll have to keep this shorter than a Vine video, which is a bummer because I wish I had time to go on and on about today’s guest: Solomon Georgio. He’s a very talented West Coast comic who was in NYC last week and popped over to my crib to chat with me when he wasn’t doing a show. He’s phenoms and charming and modelesque. In this episode, Sols talks about the wonders of Grindr, growing up on the West Coast, race issues like colorism, and throws shade at my boo Leonardo DiCaprio. This is seriously one of my fav interviews yet, so get into it!! Love you. Mean it. BYE!

Courting Sketchfest: Phoebe Robinson [40 Days Left]
[Phoebe Robinson lives half a world away, making a name for herself as a wise-cracking, chilled-out mind-stylist. One of Phoebe’s strengths is her consistent integrity, her comedy comes from a deep sense of self and a long-time observance of her many projects reads like very funny journal. There’s a handful of chances to catch this rising star (highly recommend Bayside Myself (intriguing post-modern nostalgic backwash) or a Sketchfest Dozen show (1/24-25, long set + can’t beat the Punch Line for seeing stand-up)), and you should catch her, because cool cats are hard to find.]

[Back in March Janine and Emily put on showcase that blew me away. The audience was great, the comedy was electric, new favorites were introduced, and we sang “Happy Birthday”. Ms. Brito and Ms. Heller will be hard pressed to top themselves but they can do it. The show is their blowout before moving to New York City so expect major magic.]
